Tonight, I’m sitting around, watching the Toronto Blue Jays kick the living crap out of the Boston Red Sox. A rare thing. Boston usually has Toronto’s number and are not afraid to capitalize on it. Tonight, however, you wouldn’t know the difference.

The score is 9 to 0 for the Jays. I tend to get bored when one team has such a large lead, and so I was browsing through YouTube, looking up some of my favorite comedians. I love comedians. The ballsier, the more offensive, the better. So, I thought I’d share with you one of my newer favorites. Doug Stanhope can be one of the most offensive comedians I have ever heard. Below is not necessarily an example of this, but he cracks me up, nonetheless.

Anyone who knows me knows that I champion Goodreads. A lot. I like it there not only because it is a place where you are surrounded by the electronic images of books. I also like it there because of the forum groups.

I am moderator of three groups at Goodreads, with one of them being my own creation. I added widget links to them in the links section of my website. I created Fantasy Aficionados, so it goes first. Horror Aficionados is also there, a group so great I named the group I created in dedication to them. 

Seriously, folks. If you're a book lover and haven't joined Goodreads yet, you really don't know what you're missing.

I like it here, at my website. The only problem is that I never know what to say on these damn blogs. I find that they're very good time wasters if you keep one up. Hence the reason I'm here, posting nonsense.

I really should think about this more often. I do keep a notebook with me nearly all the time. You'd think I'd write down something to say!. Even if it's nothing important. I am, after all, very opinionated. One of the problems I have with keeping a blog updated is time. I can be a very slow writer, and so I therefore don't like wasting my free time on much else. Well, except for Goodreads of course.

So, what I'm going to do, or try to do, is keep you, my dear reader, if indeed there are any of you out there, posted on my thoughts about everything I enjoy. That means reading and writing (of course), movies, hockey, and baseball.
